- Only small companies (under $150K annual budget) or independent artists may use Rush Hours.
- All Rush Hours participants must be over the age of 18.
- Rush Hours are offered exclusively on weekdays, Monday to Friday from 10am-4pm, based on availability.
- Rush Hours are intended for rehearsals, workshops, or other closed processes, and does not include performance in front of an audience. Unfortunately, we cannot currently accommodate activities with loud amplification.
- Participants must sign a waiver acknowledging their responsibility for any damages or liabilities incurred during their use of the space.
- Participants must pay up front for their use of the space.
- No equipment or additional materials are provided as part of the room rental. Companies are responsible for bringing their own equipment and supplies needed for their activities.
- No equipment or supplies can be left overnight, and spaces should be returned to the same state as they were found.
- There will be limited communication from the Young Centre on this process. Your order confirmation will secure the space.
- The Young Centre will not be held responsible for any loss or theft of personal items while in the space.
Are you a small artistic company (under $150K annual budget) or an independent artist, over 18, looking for affordable rehearsal space in the city?
Introducing Rush Hours, a pilot project aimed at providing affordable access to spaces at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts. Spaces are bookable on a first come, first served basis up to one week prior to the rental date (subject to availability).
Rush Hours will take place from July 8, 2024 to August 15, 2024 and spaces can be rented at just $25.00 per hour.
