Dawn Marie Marchand - cîpêhcakwawêw-iskwêw (Blue Horse Spirit Woman) is a Cree and Metis artist and a member of Cold Lake First Nations. She is an educator, advocate, author, writer, speaker, and mother.

OTHER: She has organized and facilitated Indigenous pop-up exhibits including the Walrus Talks - Aboriginal City art components in 2015, the first National Gathering of Elders in 2018, the facilitation of the Indigenous Artist Market Collective engagement and launch in 2018 and kisihtoskatonaw: Métis Arts Collective in 2024. She received an Aboriginal Role Model Award for Art in 2017, during her term as the inaugural Indigenous Artist In Residence for the City of Edmonton. She has since gained International attention with work projected at the World Expo Dubai in 2021 and installed permanent public art in the Stanley Milner Library. In 2023 she had her work projected during the Junos, had work permanently placed in Edmonton City Hall and installed artwork in Banff National Park as part of their Art in Nature exhibit. She is a current Designer-in-Residence with Punctuate Theatre where she supports the Indigenous authenticity and inclusion in plays like First Métis Man of Odesa.
