Adekunle Olorundare (Kunle)


A multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter, Kunle’s folk and soul music bridges contemporary styles with roots in West African rhythms and stories. Nigerian-born and currently based in Toronto, Kunle brings together his vocals, guitar, harmonica, and talking drum to take audiences into what he terms “music with no boundaries.” CREDITS - 2022: Music director and composer of and percussion (onstage) in Death and The King’s Horseman. Stratford debut. Saga Tiata Isabel Bader Theatre 2018: Abusolon in Wahala Dey Oh (adaptation of Chaucer’s Miller’s Tale), acting debut.
